Hi Joe and the WSJT-X Development team.
First, thanks for incorporating the Ctrl-R and ALT-R shortcuts and
other changes into WSJT-X Version 2.2.0-rc1. Adding they will help the
blind and visually impaired Hams as they work FT8 using the QLog program
developed by Sam, W2JDB. I'm looking forward to testing RC1 when it comes
out next Monday.

At the end of your recent announcement message I noticed a box with
"db.exe shared in drive" was included, a 64KB file. I was wonder what it is.

Joe, thanks for your efforts to get 4U1UN on the air. They sure are
creating some big pileups when they get on the air on FT8.

Although I'm still working plenty of DX with my 75 Watts (4U1UN was FT8
DXCC entity #271). I'm sure that you all have noticed the increased QRM and
greater competition from some pretty strong QRO signals. It is becoming
more and more difficult for many FT8 users to work DX. Both the 20M and 40M
FT8 frequencies, as you have seen, are really over packed at times. I
wonder if it may be time to start talking about the creation of well
defined, and agreed upon, secondary FT8 frequencies, at least on 20 & 40
Meters.

Hope you are all well in these crazy COVID-19 times. Thanks again to
the WSJT-X Development Team for making WSJT-X an even greater communication
tool than ever for its many users.

73,
Rich - K1HTV
