   Well ok your hint was correct however that leads me to a different problem..    I am running two instances of WSJT-x.  The first uses default rig_name.  The second specifies a --rig-name. But when I OPEN to play back a wav on the second instance, it actually opens the save directory of the first instance.  If I use "open directory", the correct directory is opened.  The "Save directory" specified in settings>audio is correct.

Hi Al,

do you have the correct mode selected in WSJT-X, e.g. an T4 .WAV file would not decode with FT8 mode selected.
