For the 222 and up contest last weekend a friend had over 40 MSK144 decodes 
trying to complete with a distant station but that station was not able to 
decode on his end.  Both were running 2.2.2 and in EU VHF contest mode with 6 
digit for grid configured.

Here is his summary posted today:
"..It all worked  in EU contest mode  and logged to N1MM without a hitch except 
 for the MSK144 WSJT got hung up in TX2 in EU mode. Needed to switch to NA and 
send 6 digit in the free message..."

In Florida almost all of us had switched to EU VHF contest mode and had success 
getting the 6 digit grids OK.  Not sure what hung up n TX2 mode was and why it 
was not advanced manually, or maybe he meant the other end never decoded the 
message so could not advance.  This is all I know about the problem, if there 
is one.  Could be worth a look.  Most of the contacts were FT8 so not a lot of 
run time on MSK144 in EU mode for us.
