I had my Lenovo Thinkpad X201 (4G ram), Fedora 31 running for two days using different programs.

Then I started wsjt-x (v2.2.2) and after a while it crashed. After starting wsjtx again I noticed that "Decode" button was staying on almost all the time. Just a short "flash" of between periods. How ever the cpu load was normal all the time.

UDP broadcasts (multicast) did not send all decodes. Seems that full period was missing from time to time.

When setting decode to "Normal" I got just some periods decoded. With "Fast" there was no decode at all!
"Deep" was the only one that decoded all periods (or almost all).

Checked the PC clock with ntp and error was minimal and did not make any help. Then decided to pull and compile latest source again. Pull did make some changes to existing cloned repository.

After starting fresh compiled version the situation was just the same.

As last resort I decided to do the Windoze trick: Restart the PC.
After that wsjt-x started to act normally , like always before.

I have never seen this kind of problem with Linux before. When running out of HD space it can cause problems like that, but that was not in question now.
All other programs that I used were working as usual.

Just FYI. I do not think this can be common problem, but it is good to know. Just in case...
