Hi Rich, You are causing QRM as long as any of your transmitted FSK frequencies hits any of the FSK frequencies of the calling station. FT8 signal FSK frequencies are distributed over 50 Hz band and that’s why the Tx disabling is acting as intended to prevent unnecessary QRM. 73, Reino OH3mA
