Lets me get my words straight - The various awards that use the very specific 
online logging systems assume for awards purposes you are following the rules.

You as an individual can certainly break any rule you like and use any log 
platform you like but if you choose to use one of the logging platforms that 
also track awards, if the QSO matches with another op you would be cheating on 
behalf of the other op irrespective if whether you choose to cheat yourself by 
claiming an award with an invalid station setup.
