Hi Sam,

Saku was talking about ‘RF split’. The WSJKT-X Split Operation is only a method
to keep your signal at optimum range at audio level.

On the other hand I don’t support of the idea that WSJT-X would randomly select
my transmission frequency. I don’t like that the tx frequency jumps on a
frequency where my neighbor is about to complete QSO with an important DX
station. I still believe that an operator is more capable to select a suitable
transmit frequency, although there is a limited knowledge what the DX is
receiving at his station, hi.

Saku, split on WSJT-X means that WSJT-X can automatically adjust your frequency
so that your transmit audio is always somewhere within the middle of the audio
bandpass.

How do you know that?

Perhaps on low bands but higher HF bands you can not hear others near

by. Besides most of qsos are running "split" Station A on different

audio frequency slot as opponent B.

I would rather see improvement where CQ (TX6) and answer to CQ (TX1)

would be randomized. So that every CQ, or every try to answer other's CQ

would happen on different audio slot. If qso is established then TX

audlo would be locked to current audio slot for qso.
