That's what WSPR is for. There is a very well established worldwide network 
that can be found on nearly every band. Try it. You'll like it.

I never understood why PropNet suddenly went dark one day without notice. 
Perhaps bringing back PropNet would be the best overall option. I was an avid 
participant and was very disappointed when it went away. Maybe this time use a 
SIMPSK protocol instead of vanilla PSK31.
