Hi,
I have found a solution....
I have installed *libqt5multimedia5 *and recomplied.
The strange is that configuration and compilation do no complain for the
absence of *libqt5multimedia*
The INSTALL file should be updated to include also *libqt5multimedia5.*

I just made a fresh installation of Mint 22 MATE....
Then I have compiled both WSJT-X 2.7.0-rc6 and wsjt-x improved 2.7.1
version 240814.
Both present the same problem.... the list of audio devices is empty
so none can be selected.
I went on Mint site
https://www.linuxmint.com/rel_wilma.php
and I did what is suggested to disable the new pipewire audio server:
apt purge pipewire pipewire-bin
systemctl enable --user pulseaudio
sudo reboot
inxi -A
Audio:
? Device-1: Intel 7 Series/C216 Family High Definition Audio
??? driver: snd_hda_intel
? Device-2: Realtek Full HD webcam driver: snd-usb-audio,uvcvideo
type: USB
? Device-3: Generalplus USB Audio Device
??? driver: hid-generic,snd-usb-audio,usbhid type: USB
? Device-4: T*exas Instruments PCM2901 Audio Codec <<<<<<? This is my
IC-7300 *
??? driver: hid-generic,snd-usb-audio,usbhid type: USB
? Device-5: C-Media CM108 Audio Controller
??? driver: hid-generic,snd-usb-audio,usbhid type: USB
? Device-6: C-Media CM108 Audio Controller
??? driver: hid-generic,snd-usb-audio,usbhid type: USB
? API: ALSA v: k6.8.0-41-generic status: kernel-api
? Server-1: PulseAudio v: 16.1 status: active
....
So, pulseaudio is active....nevertheless wsjt-x does not present any
list of audio devices....
I have also recompiled after this new set up, but no luck :-(
Please any idea to solve the problem ?
Thanks
