Kyle,
I'm certainly no expert, and never owned a 570D, but doesn't that rig have a 
serial port?  I would think that you would use CAT control and do the keying 
that way, not through a separate COM2 port listed in the picture you attached.  
Am I wrong about this?  On my rigs, both 20 years old, I use a separate com 
port to do all the work, keying, frequency, etc.  I don't use a separate port 
to key, but don't know if the 570D requires that.
