Hello: Thoroughly enjoying FT8 with WSJT-X. Thank you! My hobby project for further learning Python is to filter a specific type of contacts for display and enable reply using my own Python program. Display of filtered contacts in my program is fine but no success in ever answering or calling fresh, e.g.: W1AW W3ZQI FM19. WireShark displays my generated UDP packets. Have even tried AI solutions.
My setup: Windows 10 (extended support). Python 3. WSJT-X v3.0.1 Magic Number: 0xADBCCBDA (also tried 0xADBCCBDB) Schema: 3 (also tried 2) Client ID: Python Controller UDP: 224.0.0.1 port 2237 (WSJT-X , JT-Alert, DXLab Suite, and my program run successfully together). * Question: is a Heartbeat message required before attempting any transmit message? That has not helped me. * Suggestions for Magic Number, Schema, and Client ID? * Any suggestions as to why my program will not invoke transmit will be appreciated.
