This is an adopter hot bug. When certain types of code templates are inserted via content assist sometimes the text before it is overwritten unexpectedly. This makes the xml/html/jsp incorrect. Adopter states users may hit this bug repeatedly if they use templates (especially using the jsp _expression_ template in jsps).
The fix is when inserting a certain type of template, insert at the specific location stated, and only overwrite if user was typing the beginning of the template name (to help filter content assist)
