Zach, BEA is working on WLS 10.0 plugins for WTP 2.0 but they are not quite ready yet. As you found in the linked message, the planned release for these plugins is end of June. Unfortunately, copying plugins from Workshop 10.0 distribution into a WTP 2.0 install will not work due to api incompatibilities between WTP 1.5.x and WTP 2.0.
Thanks, Konstantin BEA Systems -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Zachary Lendon Sent: Tuesday, May 22, 2007 7:45 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [wtp-dev] weblogic 10 support update for wtp 2.0 Downloaded the most recent WTP 2.0 RC and used the bea dev2dev eclipse update site detailed here: https://eclipse-plugin.projects.dev2dev.bea.com/readme.html to download the Weblogic-Eclipse plugin, but it only is updated through WLS 9.2. While I realize I could download Workshop and get 10.0 support (and actually, I already have it installed), is there some way for me to get WLS 10.0 support for WTP 2.0, or is it not ready yet? I saw in a previous post: http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/wtp-dev/msg05207.html where it says it will be ready with the WTP 2.0 GA...I guess I'm hoping that there's something to test drive with the RC. Is a possible alternative for me to copy certain files from my workshop distribution over to my Eclipse environment? If so, which directories should I copy over? thanks, Zach _______________________________________________ wtp-dev mailing list [email protected] https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/wtp-dev Notice: This email message, together with any attachments, may contain information of BEA Systems, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliated entities, that may be confidential, proprietary, copyrighted and/or legally privileged, and is intended solely for the use of the individual or entity named in this message.
