Yes, Kiril, this is the new punishment procedure if we do not have a clean build for Thursday smoke tests.
Just kidding. The messages build dates spanned back to last August and I'm pretty sure we've gotten each of these messages before. I think there is an "extra" queue of our messages that build up in the infrastructure somewhere, and the webmasters notice it once every few months and flush it. I've opened bug https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=250295 (for Eclipse infrastructure) and https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=250300 (for wtp releng). But ... if we had more successful builds (if my guesses as to cause are correct) ... then this wouldn't happen ... so, yes, consider it an extra big nag note to have more successful builds! :) From: "Mitov, Kiril" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussion of project-wide or architectural issues." <[email protected]> Date: 10/09/2008 08:58 AM Subject: [wtp-dev] About 100 wtp-releng mail in just a few minutes Hi, I have just reveived about 100 (and counting) mails from wtp-releng for just 5 minutes! Checking the mails - there are all build failers, but with different tests failing. Is this part of a desired change in the procedures? Best Regards, Kiril Ps: I am not sending this to the wtp-releng since it might get lost in the mails :) _______________________________________________ wtp-dev mailing list [email protected] https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/wtp-dev
