You must subscribe to mailing lists before you can post to them, using
the same e-mail address as the one you're using to send e-mail.
However, technical questions and discussions about using eclipse and
eclipse-based tools, and developing plug-in tools should be posted to
the newsgroups at http://www.eclipse.org/newsgroups/ .

Mailing list suffixed with -dev, such as eclipse-dev and platform-dev
are intended for use by developers actually working on or otherwise
contributing to day-to-day development. The development mailing lists
are the way design and implementation issues are discussed and
decisions voted on by the committers.

webtools.sourceediting Committers,
This automatically generated message signals that David Carver has
nominated Jesper =?UTF-8?Q?M=C3=B8ller?= as a Committer on the
webtools.sourceediting
project. The reason given is as follows:

Jesper was one of the initial contributors/committers on the XSL Toos
incubator project. He helped get that project started and helped with the
migration of the code to where it is now. He now has the time to devote
as a committer and has been helping out with many patches and code
contributions to the XSL Tools XPath 2.0 Processor (PsychoPath).

In addition, Jesper is one of WTP's active Hang Arounds
(http://occasional-eclipse.blogspot.com/2009/05/know-your-projects-handarou
nds.html) and Contributions. He has recently contributed to WTP Source
Editing a complete implemenation of XML Catalog 1.1 support.

He has a good working knowledge and real life usage experience for working
with various XML related technologies. Including experience with XSLT,
XPath, XML Catalogs, DOM Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3, as well as XML
Schemas and Web Services.

For wst.xsl he has been very active with helping with the International
support and compliance of the XPath Processor. All of his code
contributions are top notch and if existing unit tests do not exist he
provides them.

In addition to the WTP work, he can be found commenting on a wide variety
of eclipse related topics in the bug reports, and through his own blog.

Jesper like myself is an individual committer with the same type of time
constraints that may impose, but currently all of the XSL committers are
individuals and part time so this is nothing new to this component.

A list of his bug contributions for WTP related projects is here:

There are even more if expand the search across eclipse as whole. Jesper
would primarly be concentrating on the wst.xsl component and lending help
where needed on the other xml related pieces.

The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded. The voting will continue
until either all 11 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
one week). Jesper =?UTF-8?Q?M=C3=B8ller?= must receive at least three +1s and
no -1s for a
successful election.

Eligible Committers must cast their votes through their My Foundation
portal page (do NOT just reply to this email; your vote will not be
correctly recorded unless you use the portal):

    http://portal.eclipse.org/

The project Committers eligible to vote are:

    Valentin Baciu
    David Carver
    Keith Chong
    Nitin Dahyabhai
    Mukul Gandhi
    Gabriel Indik
    Christopher Jaun
    Kate Price
    Nick Sandonato
    Doug Satchwell
    David Williams

*NOTE*: Successful elections are left open for a maximum of 60 days to
allow for processing of paperwork. After that time the election will be
expired, regardless of its current status. Should papework processing on
the part of the candidate take more time than allowed, a new election will
have to be held.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your project
lead, PMC member, or the EMO <e...@eclipse.org>
