I'm not aware of any current plans for general CDI tooling, but we would 
certainly welcome any proposals  :)

The only current support is found in JSF projects recognizing the @Named 
and @Model annotations  (

Anyone? - this question is in context of adjusting/integrating our CDI 
tooling into eclipse CDI.

I thought I heard there were some work on this going on but we haven't 
been able to track it down.
