That's very cool!
FYI, I also updated documentation so new contributors won't be told about these old repositories: https://wiki.eclipse.org/JSDT/Development As explained in documentation, WTP committers and interested parties should follow WTP contributions via Gerrit by adding the new repo as watched in https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/settings/projects .

Some next steps:
* Convenience changes in JSDT poms: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=425796 & https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=425060
* Update map files: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=425797
* Update submodules and CBI root pom
* Enable Hudson votes on Gerrit contributions for JSDT https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=425792 * Enable Sonar for JSDT: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=425793 * Communicate with contributors to show how easies it is to contribute to JSDT.

Let the fun begin!
