After a number of tweaks this week, the script works well on both my machine and Rob's, even if you have different git settings (re: merges and rebases).
Tested on my machine w/ Fedora 24, mvn 3.3.9, and Oracle JDK 8u121. Hearty +1 / :thumbsup: from me. If we can get PMC approval to merge the repos, I can move ahead with creating tiered builds (common, servertools, sse, etc.) Speaking of servertools... any progress on THAT merge request [1] being applied?
