feel for how much work it would be and got the basics working:

That said, it doesn't matter to me - I'm equally happy to fold this in or do
something similar with rautomate. Let me know which direction you want to
go, Charlie, and I'll create a topic branch and try to get a first pass
running sometime later this week.
