This is only a problem if you're using Ruby 1.8, which is [no longer
maintained](https://www.ruby-lang.org/en/news/2013/06/30/we-retire-1-8-7/). You
really should upgrade.
We don't test watir-webdriver on 1.8, and selenium-webdriver explicitly doesn't
support it since 2.37.
