Title: OBJECT element handling
Test Object
This page is to test the treatment of the OBJECT element in various browsers and other UAs. It includes images that have intrinsically small dimensions and intrinsically large dimensions repeated three times for: PNG, GIF and JPEG. There are also three time-oriented files: an MP3 audio file; a video file using 3rd Generation Partnership Project 3GP container with H.264 content.baseline profile; and a Flash video file (SWF).
All OBJECT elements are surrounding by a red border. The following styles are applied:
object { border-style: solid; border-color: red; border-width: thick; } img { border-style: solid; border-color: blue; border-width: thick; }The OBJECT element is the simplest markup possible:
<img src='' alt='fallback content' > <object data=''>fallback content</object>
- Object elements are framed in red
- The trailing OBJECT should ideally be rendered the same as the previous IMG (not framed in red)
- The last three sections — video, audio, and flash — should display with controls and audio
