Consider publishing the stable features of that draft into a REC on a regular basis.
I'm not sure if this is feedback on DOM Core, but we are mostly removing features and doing that takes most of the time. There are very few "additions". As an aside, we previously tried such an approach with XMLHttpRequest and have yet to succeed.
