We all understand more or less the issues of DRM. We all have an opinion about 
it (for and against). This doesn't solve anything and it is missing the real 
target. The way to fight the DRM is to propose a better business model, more 
attractive for **content owners**. Content providers will apply what suit the 
content owners.

The issue is that the content owners which are represented in W3C are not 
really the business people and lawyer, which are the ones you need to convince. 
But you can start with the Members list [1]

PS: In this email, I'm not advocating for or against DRM. My personal opinion 
is against DRM. That doesn't make a solution.
