About http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-xhtml2-20060726/mod-metaAttributes.html XHTML 2.0 says: "datatype = QName This attribute defines the datatype of the content metadata of the element. If the attribute is not specified, then the default value is string as defined by [XMLSCHEMA]." Would there be any troubles to make the default namespace for this value the XML Schema namespace.
