Stay with Nepali family in Kathmandu. For those people who
wish to stay with Nepalese families instead of hotels in Kathmandu prior to and
after their tour/trek we have paying guest accomodations available too. These
stays are specially very enjoyable and effective way to share feelings/culture
and customs vis a vis with Nepali family with other nationals,
specially for students.A typical Nepali life begins with brooming of house by
elders such as grand mother/mother or elder sisters which a western society
never enjoys.Imagine yourself going to local market with a big bag to shop
vegetables and other groceries of the day with a 70 year old grandmother or a 10
year old son of the family..Again imagine yourself attending a typical Nepalese
wedding ceremony. To cook the food with grandmother , wash the cloth yourself,
cleaning the house , wash the dish is normal. These are completely different than
what you do in the west. Most of the nepalese families allow and appreciate a
helping hand in the kitchen,so be careful you may end up a good Nepali cook.
Think that you are just paying only your expenses, not for us. There will be a small charge , which is US $ 5 per person per day
including breakfast ( Bread , Eggs , Rice pudding , Tea, Coffee etc ) and
Nepali dinner ( Veg. curry, Boiled rice, Pickle,Dal soup, Chicken curry etc ) ,
Which is not the business, just small expenses very friendly. You can stay as
long as possible Janaki www.nectravels.com , www.nepaltouroperator.com 00977 1 4421732, 4428930 , 4461758 |
