This is not really enough information to work with.  There are many
people who manage to use WWWOFFLE with Mozilla.

You say "Mozilla grinds and grinds", I thought that was normal :-)
What do you mean really, does it request anything from WWWOFFLE or
not?  Does it display anything?  Or is it just slow?  Is this online
or offline?

You should check the WWWOFFLE log file, or the syslog file or even run
WWWOFFLE with debugging enabled (see the FAQ for details).  This will
tell you of any important errors or problems that WWWOFFLE is seeing.
