I carefully prepare my replies to a BBS, oriented.org, I connect my
modem and

"Sorry! We have flood-control activated. You cannot post within a
certain number of seconds of your last post. Please try again after
this period of time elapses. The current number of seconds required
between posts is: 60"

This means my first POST gets posted, the rest go into the great bit
bucket in the sky. "Blast". Version 2.7-beta.

Of all my gigabytes of empty disk space, I can't believe my creativity
is lost, not even findable say on /tmp . Using emacs for 15 years
never lost me a byte of creativity...

By the way
# cd /var/spool/wwwoffle/outgoing/
# wwwoffle-ls .
Cannot parse the argument '.'

By the way, something sometimes makes files I download to disk have
names like xxxxx.tar.gz but their contents are just xxxxx.tar .
