I didn't have the time yet to install and try v2.7. But I can describe you
a problem with v2.6d.
After some time running, when I try purging, either by the web interface or
by the command line, the process stops after 4-5 hosts (retries always
stopping on the same host). In the past I've encountered this problem
several times (retries all stopping on the same host) but on a later hosts
in the list (100th or so ...).
The solution for me is to use /etc/rc.d/init.d/wwwoffle restart (killproc
wwwoffled -HUP). WWWOFFLE continues to use the same PID and keeps the
online status, but the purge now works until full completion (stats
appearing).

I'll let you know if this bug is in v2.7 of not.
