That's it, I should have noticed it myself! Thank you very much for all your help the last weeks ago! Now WWWOFFLE is running very, very well. Mostly I'm running in autodial-mode, and I have the impression that WWWOFFLE doesn't cause connections so often than version 2.5c did when I wanted to see pages which certainly have been cached before.
