Hi,

I have upgraded wwwoffle to 2.7b version by compiling the source code.

I had a previous version from a rpm packet (wwwoffle 2,5 from SuSE 7,3).

Since the executable files are not written in the same directory:
        /usr/local/bin for the compiled source
        /usr/bin for the RPMs
some path conflicts append.

I manage to solve most of them.

But as a general rule:
1) Would you recommand to de-install the RPM version before the source
installation ?

2)Is it safe to de-install the RPM version (via yast2, or kpackage for
instance) after the new sources are compiled ?

Thanks for your help,

T.
