But the whole point for me is for privoxy to defend my modem line from
pulling in unwanted junk.  wwwoffle can do that too, but since there
is a specialized tool (privoxy), I'll use it.  Yes, either way I wont
see the junk.

Wait.  Since both privoxy and wwwoffle are on this side of the modem,
then I probably won't pull most of the junk over anyway.  Hmmm.  OK,
never mind.
P.S. I trust this is getting posted to wwwoffle-users.
