OK, I'll try it for extra protection, in case one day I accidentally
hit a purge button. You see, long ago I figured out that with my 56 K
modem connecting for a few costly minutes a day, I could never fill up
the hard drive before it fails one day anyway, so why not just keep
that wonderous encyclopedia Britannica of webpages I accumulated
around until things come to a screeching halt anyway.

Very funny. Back up all that junk? Naw, my "fill 'er up till the
disk dies anyway' is the right strategy for me.

Ah.

I will keep observing. Maybe it has to do with my 'truculent browsing style'.

BTW, I'm curious about your 'badly networked location, therefore
invented WWWOFFLE'. Can you pinpoint it like
http://jidanni.org/location/coordinates.html ?
