Hi, I am running WWWOffle 2.7f on both RedHat and in the Cygwin environment and am having problems with Proxy Authentication.
After configuring the AllowedConnectedUsers with a specific user I experience the following: 1. Connecting to a website (not the local web server) prompts for the username and password. 2. Connecting to the local webserver configuration port (http://servername:8080) returns the error "Access to the WWWOFFLE Proxy is controlled, user authentication is required." When using Netscape I do not experience these problems. I have tried turning off the HTTP 1.1 settings within IE6 without any success. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
