What do I do to have everything compressed just immidiately?

I have:
use-mtime = no
I finally got it all (almost all) compressed after cron.daily/wwwoffle
srcipt was run during the night.
Now I understand why. Thanks.

This also doesn't say ANYTHING to somewhone who doesn't know how it
works. Maybe it's obvious to you, who have written WWWOFFLE and many
things are just obvious too you. But for a user, who sees this option
for the first time, saying "same" doesn't explain anything. You
should not write "same" or use any references to the 'age=...'
option. Just write explicitly how it works.
When I've read 'same as age=...' and read the description of 'age' I
thought that compress-age = -1 will compress everything immidiately.
