Are you sure that you are not monitoring this URL instead of the one
that you think that you are monitoring?  When I request the first URL
I do not get redirected to the second URL, I just get back the page of
data.

Does this mean that you get two entries in the index for these two URLs?

What do you get if you go to the page info for the first of these two
URLs?  Does it redirect you to the other one?

I don't believe that this is true, two different URLs should have
different entries in the WWWOFFLE cache.
