The addition of the CSS stylesheet in this new version of WWWOFFLE is
something of an experiment.  I added in a few small features that I
thought would be useful.  There probably is a good case for having
different styles for the different types of messages.

I don't think that the browser can generate the directory page itself
if you are doing FTP through a proxy.

Yes, this is a general catch-all error message for any problems that
don't have their own messages.  There is no way of customising it for
the many different possibilities.
