A slow day here on wwwoffle-users. So: Found an area of lack: Say I use some fancy date patterns on http://localhost:8080/monitor-options/?http://www.ubus.com.tw/main_news.html but these days I want to add some extra fetch options too.
Well "To monitor a page using extra fetch options go to the Interactive Refresh Form and select the options first." might be well and good if this was the first time monitoring that page... but it's not, so the best one can do is manually copy their fancy date patterns over... now one has two monitored pages too, and must cancel the former one. BTW, also in general "To monitor a page using extra fetch options go to the Interactive Refresh Form and select the options first." --- after clicking "Fetch Now" of course... which means one also has to make an extra request now, even though one just wants to see the page on the 29th... which wouldn't happen in the simplest monitoring case. So one has to remove that extra request manually. Hmmm, all this makes one think about going straight to the .../monitor directory and managing things on one's own. OK, took about 3 minutes for me to 'crack' the 'undocumented' format of the M time files... well, at least I can copy one to another... safer than URL pasting for me... ok that should keep me entertained for now.
