The browser is much better placed to keep track of the pages that you
have visited today than WWWOFFLE is.

1) Not all pages that you visit today cause requests to be made to
   WWWOFFLE because the browser's cached version may be new enough.

2) Web servers find it very hard to know which user is requesting each
   page.  The computer that the network connection comes from is not
   enough (in general).

3) WWWOFFLE keeps no information in memory about what has been
   visited, it is just a waste of space.
