Granted, it's pointless to delete sites manually. However, there may be the case when going to archive / compress / copy a cache, that doing it could save time and media space. There always are less important sites, eg, with huge amounts of pictures. Anyway, looking through the index, it would be not much effort to check delete checkboxes for trash. It can be useful for debugging cache filter settings, too.
I really would appreciate to have checkboxes on the index page... � /\/
