Gentlemen, I have now taken the plunge and put my wwwoffle.conf on a
diet, e.g.,
Options
{
log-level = debug
}
is all that is left of Options. The defaults and discussion are all
still available on the wwwoffle.conf man page. My wwwoffle.conf is now
just a few lines long, showing clearly what I have changed from the
defaults and nothing more. A burden has been lifted. My life is now
back in stride.
Furthermore, I shall make backups of my wwwoffle.conf, lest the
updater program get its grubby hands on it again one day.
I will keep abreast of new variables via reading NEWS.gz.
No, lists like MIMETypes will have to stay long, as there is no
default ready to step in otherwise.
