Dan Jacobson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Let's discuss some minimal prioritizing of what is to be fetched.
Ordering is most useful for laptops or handhelds which can't reach a LAN oder Satellite evrywhere. For example a traveller may face the situation to have tiny online windows (eg at air- or trainports) so priorities could be useful. I can't easily imagine generic priority schemes. It always 'depends' somwhow. Fetching monitored first could be an option, why not. Or one could argue to fetch htm(l) pages (that is, text) before any pictures. But for any rule, there would be exceptions. What i can imagine is a checkbox column in the 'order' view, like the 'delete' checkboxes. One would activate the 'priotity' view in the header menu for that. A box checked would mean 'fetch before the unchecked ones'. ° /\/
