XS example

Does anyone have some good XS examples please?  I am looking to use 
DialogBlocks as a nice GUI for knocking up some dialogs, but I still not 
sure that I understand the process to wire everything up (without using 
more code than just writing the dialog by hand...?)

Grateful for any pointers to samples (or any tips)
