In addition to all the fixes everyone contributed, I also took advantage of the
Mozilla ActiveX Control supporting the same interface as IE to implement
Wx::ActiveX::Mozilla - which seems to work fine with my installation of Firefox.
Wx::ActiveX::Acrobat is still broken - grrrr. The control can read the interface OK but does not respond to and methods etc.
I've downloaded the Acrobat SDK and documentation and will probably be reduced to producing some sort of specific wrapper for the Acrobat reader. In the meantime, I'll continue to load PDF's using Wx::ActiveX::IE.
Windows Media Player works again though :-)
I have expanded the pod a little and there is a Wx::Demo module.
Hope it proves useful ( and most importantly, works ! )
