Well, I've continued to experiment.

Not RichText.xs because I used Mark's file.
I'm still getting the same (or a very similar) dump. I guess what I'm not
clear about is the relationship between the files, ie which ones feed one
another. Many of them have "do not update ...." or something which is
helpful, but others appear identical and I assume one is copied and one is
original.
