My recent questions on this list and the responses of Mark Dootson finally lead to the creation of .exe installer for Strawberry + Padre + a lot of other CPAN packages.

Probably even after Strawberry Professional is released. After installation it already takes up about 300 Mb but personally I don't have any issue doubling its size if there is interesting stuff to be included. I hope we can start getting more people write desktop applications in Perl for Windows. Let's say with this package the ease of installation of the environment is done. What do you suggest should be the next step to promote the platform? Tutorials? Training classes? regards Gabor
