Hi, Testing on Ubuntu 11.04, 64 bit
The Perldata DND does work, but there does seem to be some wxWidgets issue present.
In Wx::Demo the target for dropped Perl Data is only 'active' in the bottom right hand corner. With the cursor over this, dropping data works. Over most of the target control, however, it does not.
I should note that I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 in a VirtualBox VM running on a physical machine that I access via VNC - so the odd cursor position issue may be a function of my setup.
