wxiOS is a GSoC project this year, and the student just reported to the wx-dev mailing list that he'd made some big improvements.

Anyway, that's kind of irrelevant for Johan's question, because interpreted languages aren't allowed on iOS, except for Javascript in WebApps. All installable apps must be written in C, C++, or Objective-C.
