dear mark, a friend of mine wanted to assiciate with an listitem a ref to data which is not the intended way in wxwidgets, good. But SetItemPtrData is not wrapped. i would like to see that in wxperl SetItemData can handle both and can foreward to both as needed and thus simplify the api
