Is the example your actual code - do you have
wxFD_SAVE || wxFD_OVERWRITE_PROMPT
instead of wxFD_SAVE | wxFD_OVERWRITE_PROMPT ?
I don't see these problems.
If this isn't a simple typo problem perhaps you could post a failing
example.
