In the source file
build/Wx/build/MakeMaker/Any_wxConfig.pm
line 45 reads
$text =~ s{^(LD(?:DL)?FLAGS\s*=.*?)-L/usr/local/lib/?}{$1}mg;
If you comment it out, I think Wx will build for you OK.
Please let me know if this gives you success.
